OK, I know your asking yourself what the heck is she talking about!
Well, there is a story behind the "Loaf Pan".....Now I'm not a writer so bare with me!
When my husband Troy and I were first married my parents came to visit us here in Georgia. We had just moved into our first home in Suwanee. As my mother and I were unpacking and putting the kitchen together she noticed 6 really ripe bananas on the counter. Ooooo I need to throw those away Mom!!! My Mom replied, oh no let's make some banana bread. YUMMY I thought! (My Mom made the best banana bread!) Oh shoot Mom I don't have a loaf pan. She just looked at me and smiled...took a bag out of the car and placed in on the counter. I looked at her puzzled and said "what's that"? Well take a look. Wow 4 brand new loaf pans...how did you know I needed these? She said with a slight smile, because I'm your Mom. We made the banana bread together and then the pans were put away.
When I started my bath & body company several years ago I didn't have alot of money to buy soap molds, supplies, ect. So, I started looking in unusual places for supplies. My kitchen was the first stop. I had forgotten about the 4 loaf pans my Mom had given me years ago. (See, I'm not a baker at all!!! They hadn't been used since.) Oh yes!!! I can make soap in these....so that's what I did. To this day I still use the same 4 loaf pans my Mom gave me to make my signature Boutique Loaf Soaps. It's been 17 years since I received this gift from my Mom. I will never forget the day she gave them to me! So a Loaf Pan can mean so much more than just what it is. Every time I make a loaf of soap I think of my Mom. I miss you Mommy!
